| 229814 | 2004-04-16 10:05:00 | Hi GUYS, For some time now, I have found that "Spybot" has not found anything to remove. All though this would be consided a good thing to happen I find it just a little hard to believe. I havn't changed my web surfing habits ,so not to sure what to think. I use XP pro (always updated) With only the XP fire-wall. Using IE6 6 sp1. Any thoughts or is there some thing mischievous going that perhaps I don, 't know about Cheers John D |

| 229815 | 2004-04-16 11:01:00 | I had this trouble with Spybot some weeks ago. I uninstalled the program and then re-installed. Everything was then ok. The cause... no idea or clues. Eric |

| 229820 | 2004-04-16 12:01:00 | Thanks beama, Yes, I check for updates every time I go online . I have reinstalled "Spy-bot" and ran update before running . All is well again , it finds the the bad stuff again and cleans it out. Great stuff. Cheers John |

You might want to have a look at spyware blaster, it will prevent the activex based stuff from getting installed in the first place. |
