He was the one who agreed to "buy" it. Even though he has now amended the terms on the TradeMe site, I printed out the original ones. > Only a madman would courier that amount of product. No arguing from me about my sanity (or lack of). Thats a constant. > Give me an address and ill arange it,If there is no > glass at the given address you will be billed for the > truck hire. We do not have any agreement, sorry. You are too late. There is an address in Invercargill you can collect it from. PoWa can advise you (I would not post it here). Did I mention I now own a courier company as well? How remiss of me. Looks like a profitable year as well. |

And besides, when I receive the goods from the courier, I will tick "in damaged condition" (because they are infact damaged) and I guess that would leave you with insurance charges and compensation charges for the buyer. Hmm metla we are going to be very rich indeed. |

So this was someone posing as you I assume? (and the glass you have bought is not broken, its in complete sheets, each one numbered and photographed and individually packed in bubble wrap) Certainly looks like a "buyer" that is going to "sell" the glass to me. Truck convoy just passing through Tinwald at this time. |

You mean you demolished the glasshouses and got 10,000 sq.ft. of glass out of it?? Who was busy with the glass cutters to make them fit into 5kg boxes??? What happens if the courier arrives and I refuse to pay for the goods? "Uh these don't belong to me, you must have the wrong address". I'll change the number on my letterbox to a different number, they'll never find me. ]:) Besides even if we accepted the goods, we'd still make a killing off the profits by selling it all on trademe. |

| 229745 | 2004-04-17 11:19:00 | Besides Godfather, I think you missed the point of our business. We only buy broken glass. Unbroken glass of the same coulour and type is of no use to us. | PoWa (203) | ||
| 229746 | 2004-04-18 02:51:00 | Uhh Metla the buyers are pouring in! We have another question to answer: "Would there be any photos put on when you trade? As I only want workable craft glass if I bid. Cheers." Can you use your digital camera and take some shots for me to put on trademe?? Such a shame godfather didn't want your truck, that would have been a great photo!! Strangely enough some vandal late last night threw a rock right through our main house window. So I have plenty of broken glass here, but no decent camera to photograph it. I'm afraid if I use our current one, it will put buyers off our merchandise. |

| 229749 | 2004-04-18 06:37:00 | On the listing: "Note: if you would like to donate glass for our business, thats fine. You just pay the delivery and packaging costs and we'll take care of it." So, GF would have to pay for donating glass to you then? Don't contracts have to have essential elements like: Offer - Powa Offered Acceptance - GF accepted Legality of object - I guess the glass isn't stolen and being laundered (lol) Legality to enter into the contract - You're not a minor are you Powa? The Consideration - GF pay the freight and packaging - or 'donated' Aren't there also torts of deceit and so on to be considered? Bit rusty on the legal stuff - maybe Powa could appoint Winston on this one!! Keep it in the family and all that :D |

It probably slipped off the top of the huge 6 . 8 tonne pile stacked up against the house by the courier drivers in the night . If there is no huge pile of glass now, perhaps it was stolen during the nght and the window was broken while they were taking it? >"Would there be any photos put on when you trade? As I only want > workable craft glass if I bid . Amazing . I suspect some people simply do not have the ability to recognise satire when they see it . Life must be a bit serious for them . They would probably buy it . . . . . |
