| 230378 | 2004-04-19 00:42:00 | I've finally ventured into the non-M$ world and tried Knoppix. It's an interesting change, but as I'm still very much a n00b with Linux, can somebody advise me on how to get things like the modem recognised by Knoppix? I want to try it out online... Lizard |

Most PC's come with WinModem's, which you'd need to download drivers for, and when it comes to that its usually quite hard to get a Bootable Distro to do what you want.... Give kppp a shot and see if it works, and we'll take it from there. Cheers Chill. |
