| 230286 | 2004-04-18 04:23:00 | Hi all As most of you will know, our computer went back to cyclone to get fixed, because the cd was no spinning up. it was the psu, it's fan had failed, causing the cd drive to overheat. but they replaced the psu under warrenty. also, for $142 they put in 256mb of ram, so now we have 384mb of the stuff (goes quite a bit faster :D) but we have intel extreme graphics. it uses 4mb of ram which is pathetic. where can i set it to use more? bios? Motherboard? american megatrends bios (i think...) i'm posting from the south library, and dont have access to said computer. but whhere is the setting most likely to be? |
