| 230289 | 2004-04-18 04:20:00 | I don't think thats a feature of Windows XP... haven't heard of it in Windows 95 for that matter. I believe there is a third party tool available to do it, someone might know what it was. Copy and paste into Notepad and do a find and replace > with nothing usually works. |

| 230292 | 2004-04-18 05:55:00 | You can prevent those characters from appearing in your own forwarded and reply emails in Outlook Express by going to Tools>Options>Send>Plain text settings and remove the tick from "Indent the original text with....". It helps if you can pass that information on to your correspondents as well. ;-) |
