| 230161 | 2004-04-18 00:54:00 | do you happen to have norton antivirus 2003? i found after a live update serveral months ago, outlook express could no longer receive mail. i had to disable email scanning to let the mail come through. (maybe norton have fixed this issue now - i don't know, i use a different mail client now). dan |

| 230162 | 2004-04-18 01:41:00 | If it says username and password is wrong, that's usually exactly what it means. Can you log into Webmail with the same details? Tried retyping your user and pass? Turned caps-lock off? |

| 230164 | 2004-04-18 03:40:00 | hi,when this happens to me,I go to outlook express > tools > accounts > it then highlights the account ie in your case something like - pop3.ihug.co.nz - choose remove - confirm remove. Then choose > add > mail > and follow the set up wizards to set up your mail servers again.Works for me anyway....the other thing you could do if you are not confident trying this is to contact your ISP's help desk to talk you through it. goodluck... ruup |
