| 230681 | 2004-04-20 04:15:00 | My TV is in one room and the computer about 5 meters away. I can connect them up when they are side by side but will it still work with a 5 meter cable or will the signal get scrambled or something? TIA | kiwitwat (4646) | ||

| 230683 | 2004-04-21 14:51:00 | I have my PC in one room and the TV in the lounge connected with a cheap 10 metre RCA cable from Dick Smiths and a long audio cable and don't notice any drop in quality when watching DVD's etc. you should be fine. The only hassle is no remote for the movie, I guess DVD players have dropped in price so much it'd be an easy thing for me to fix :) |

| 230684 | 2004-04-22 07:12:00 | I have run 3 RG6 cables from PC to VCR input 2 . 1 from tv out and 2 from L & R audio channels then video to tv . I connected DVD player to VCR input 1 doubled up to a second VCR . If I doubled up the DVD to the PC TV out cables video recording was mixed with the TV out desktop picture . I use the PC TV card remote to change PC channels, the TV VCR remote to control volume . Net result is I can record two TV channels to either VCR, or 1 TV and ! PC TV channel . DVD plays 100% OK and can still copy from 1 VCR to 2nd VCR . By using settings display setups one can display PC programs on TV or work on PC while displaying PC TV program oon the TV . When I rewired my old TV cables with RG6 it was like buying a new TV . The picture was so much better |
