230596 2004-04-19 23:48:00 Obviously they will not work at AGP 8x
They should work at AGP 4x

Provided they are actually compatable with your system.

230597 2004-04-20 00:18:00 what you really need to check is if the graphics cards are agp 8x/4x compatible which means while they r primarily 8x cards they will run in a 4x board, as far as i can remember all current boards with the exception of possibly the 9800xt and fx 5950 ultra are 8x/4x boards so you should be fine robert6655 (5176)
230598 2004-04-20 02:25:00 ok thats good then. oh one more question can all graphics cards support and use direct x 9? Patrick 2003 (277)
230599 2004-04-20 03:31:00 no there are specific graphics card that support all direct x 9 FEATURES, however all graphics cards will run on a system that has direct x 9 on it, if that makes any sense to you.

if you are looking at a radeon then anything above the 9200 is directx 9 and in nvidia the 5200 and above are direct x 9
