| 230506 | 2004-04-19 07:15:00 | hi, I accidently deleted a folder and a few files and i need to get them back. Does anybody know a free recove program that i can use??? Is there any way i can recover files with out paying any money? Alot of demo programs seem to have a data revoery limit on them thanks |

| 230507 | 2004-04-19 07:45:00 | As your files are still there, it is just the "index" to where they are located is wiped, so windows cannot see them. So if they are really important, you must not use the drive as windows can write over top of the files you want to recover. To do it properly, your drive should be put in as a secondary drive in another PC. You can then load recovery software on that machine without a worry of overwriting the files your after. You can use such programs as PC Inspector (www.pcinspector.de) |
