| 231018 | 2004-04-21 22:52:00 | I don't have my messenger on all the time but I turned it on a few weeks ago only to have the nag about a new version. So I downloaded it, took ages and by the time it downloaded I was doing something else so didn't get to see if my friend in Italy was online. So I finish browsing this morning, and think I'll check again to see if I can catch my friend online as I have a little time only to be nagged again and this time its forcing me to download another version before I proceed. Again I see its going to take ages to download (dial up) and by the time it downloads I'm going to have to do other things. I find this very frustrating and just discourages me from bothering with messenger but its the only contact I have with my overseas friend. Grrrrrrr........... |

| 231023 | 2004-04-22 02:50:00 | I don't have any use for any of the multi-protocol chat apps, but am curious to know how nice/lousy their gui's are? | Greg S (201) | ||

| 231025 | 2004-04-22 04:21:00 | Gaim has a solid interface, and the Emoticons are pretty basic but can be changed :-) Kopete looks nice with Kde's Keramik theme... :D I didnt like how Trillian stored the contacts locally.. When I last used it I had mates add me on MSN and they were only on my Trillian buddy list. Does it still do that? Chill. |

| 231027 | 2004-04-22 06:53:00 | I'm getting fed up with the updates too. I have recently downloaded the latest one and it has crashed a few times, made my system unstable forcing me to reboot twice and now it takes about 10secs to send each blimin message. Useless! | PoWa (203) | ||
