230934 2004-04-21 08:34:00 Hi all - suddenly in the last week I am getting a huge increase in the number of spam coming in (mostly wanting to sell me viagra, and other prescriptions). I have IHateSpam on my machine, but they still come.

Any suggestions, other than to change my email address (don't really want to do that)?

230938 2004-04-21 09:09:00 Thanks for such prompt replies! Now for a dumb question (!) - do I email ClearNet to do this. Sorry, but I thought this was happening automatically.....

By the way, I have a Home 150 account.

Cheers, and thanks again in anticipation. ?:|

230940 2004-04-22 01:03:00 Am also on the same plan with Clearnet. For whatever reason all this spam is getting past the filters at the ISP. alanw (5553)
230941 2004-04-22 03:38:00 My experience over the last couple of months is that about half the spam is picked up by ClearNet's filter program, and Mailwasher picks up the rest. rodb (1561)
230942 2004-04-22 06:21:00 Are you using Mailwasher Free, or Mailwasher Pro? R.M. (561)
230943 2004-04-23 11:32:00 Sorry about the delay in responding.
I use Mailwasher 1.33 (free). I went back to this after trying later versions because they would not check more than one POP account, whereas 1.33 and earlier let you have multiple email accounts.
