| 230748 | 2004-04-20 10:46:00 | when starting up i get a pop-up that says "cannot find svcinit.exe in the win.ini file" can anyne tell me what this is? since this started i have reloaded the o/s(98se). also having problems with explorer and ie freezing and shutting down for no apparent reason. any theories welcome et426 |

| 230749 | 2004-04-20 10:56:00 | sound like you have had a run in with a backdoor trojan that stays in C:\windows\system32\svcinit.exe It's a keylogger, and always tempts to connect itself to the internet and report to head office. check for the file and remove it . then search the regestry with regedit and remove and entry of the file name. good luck. |
