1360971 2013-11-27 06:51:00 Is it possible to use a terrestrial decoder to record onto a Panasonic analogue hard drive recorder, seeing that the aerial is shared? I am trying this but just get a grey monochrome picture. I know it can be done with a Satellite decoder but that uses a different input.
Thanks, Arjay

1360974 2013-11-27 09:25:00 If you have component (red/green/blue RCA connectors (marked as Y/Pb/Pr, or similar)), or S-video outputs from your set-top box (which you should have if it's not a budget one), and the same (inputs) on your recorder, the results will be greatly improved than using RF:yuck: (aerial) or composite:yuck::yuck:
You'll also need to run a audio feed (either analogue or digital).
