| 1339829 | 2013-05-06 03:46:00 | A personalized car tag "1 D" for went for NZ $600,000 in the UK (352,000) www.bbc.co.uk At first I thought: one more jerk in the "bunch of mindless jerks who will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes" However a number of UK charities did appear to benefit. Over-priced personalized plates in NZ only appear to benefit the NZTA, or jerks reselling them. Of the almost 1,400 tags for sale on TradeMe, not one appears to be for charity. |

| 1339830 | 2013-05-06 04:01:00 | Found this information . I'm not sure what it means "It has been decided to wind up the Road Safety Trust by June 2013 and manage the personalised number plate funds from within the NZ Transport Agency . No further invitations for funding applications will be invited by the Road Safety Trust . Once the NZ Transport Agency has finalised its future arrangements for the road safety fund, the sector will be advised . | 1339835 | 2013-05-06 23:47:00 | How about this personalized plate "COCAIN" starting bid $200,000 on Trademe. www.trademe.co.nz You have to wonder who is stupider * The seller who thought a tag with "COCAIN" was a great investment idea. * or the buyer. You might as well paint "I'm a drug dealer" on the side of the car. |
