I've been keeping track of our electricity and gas but the latter seems to be quite expensive. When no water/cooking is being used the meter doesn't move. When someone was doing the dishes, I was standing next to it and the meter was continously moving; within a minute it gained 0.025 which after applying the multiplyer this is 0.2845kW.
Just today from 1200 - 1830 so including lunch and dinner preparation that was 55kW at Genesis's $0.0675/kW that is $3.70 not including the daily charge of $1.35. |
