They dont have to be cajoled and driven to the polling station to vote for the labor party like other non White races. I guess hanging is the best way because of the deterrence effect and one thing I would like is the for the condemned person to hear some carpenters building the hanging platform outside their cell and being told it. If they want some one to do the job I am available and would do it for free although I would prefer using a 9mm pistol. |

Admittedly some of those wrongly convicted were 'scum' , but does that make it OK? Pinning a conviction to 'somebody' seemed more important than anything else. Police dont want any unsolved murders, so have put up some pretty bogus evidence in past cases. Juries get so bored & worn out after trials being strung out for weeks that they just want to get out of there (rubber stamp that conviction & go home) |

That is murder without doubt and desertion in times of war which is the most despicable offence a man could ever commit. | prefect (6291) | ||
| 1339099 | 2013-05-01 00:24:00 | Life in prison without the perks of Sky, Pool, Pool Tables, TV etc would be my vote. Why sent them on holiday by killing them? Make em suffer. | lordnoddy (3645) | ||

| 1339101 | 2013-05-01 03:35:00 | Why should the family of the victim(s) have to pay to feed, house, clothe and guard the murderer for years after the offence? It must be the cruelest way of adding insult to injury for those who have been deprived of a parent, spouse, sibling or child. And under NZ law, the offender is usually back on the streets within only a very few years, complete with the criminal education they received in prison. I'm with Prefect. A bullet is cheaper than a scaffold and a complete guarantee against recidivist offending. | Blue Druid (4480) | ||

Besides, how can you justify killing someone for whatever reason? Killing someone is wrong and you all know it. I agree with, "Make Them Suffer." They should be in gaol for life with hard labour, and make "life" mean life. No opportunity for parole just because you've been a good boy. I reiterate, "Make Them Suffer." |

None of these perks. Give them hard labour and no parole. Leave them to rot in prison. I don't believe that any punishment will serve as a deterrent as most murders (not all) are not premeditated. I'm certain that no murderer thought carefully as to the consequences of his actions before he killed. So the punishment should be just that, a punishment that fits them crime. Hanging is much too good for them. Make them suffer! |

Absolutely agree with you because of my beliefs however I'm sure you'll agree (or not) that the victim and the crim are going two different ways in the afterlife! And on the off chance which because of said beliefs I don't believe to be true but *if* I'm wrong - then it means two dead people and two families with dead loved ones. Look at the media some where a young-kid has done something stupid as murder and his family are still supporting and crying for him - sorry but he did wrong and needs to face the cost but don't let them suffer to the extent that the family of his victim has to. |
