Suggestion, Make sure all your data is backed up first.

Dont simply format the drive, boot from the Windows DVD, when it gets to the options to where to install windows, actually delete both partitions, this WILL remove all previous data, programs and OS. When windows installs it will create two partitions, one being 100MB the other the remainder of the drive.

1360320 2013-11-21 05:47:00 Looks like as PCUSER said the page file has gone nuts :waughh: As a general rule, the page file should be approx. 1.5 -2 times the amount of Installed memory, so unless you have 200GB of memory ;) there is certainly something wrong.

Check the following settings: Open the Control Panel > System > On the Left, Advanced System Settings> Advanced Tab - under Performance Settings on the right will be the Setting Button, click that, Advanced Tab> ( make sure its set to programs) then Change Button. Make sure its set to Automatically Manage Page file -- These are the default setting -- Follow the red line below in the Picture: :D

1360321 2013-11-21 05:59:00 Good you got it sorted :) Just curious, after looking at the setting I posted previously,( and quoted) were they set to the defaults ?

Looks like for some reason the Error message was caused by the OS / Pagefile creation mis-reading the amount of Memory installed.

The picture posted looks more like it

Pagefile too small is my guess
How much RAM have you got & what size is the pagefile

The often quoted pagefile= 2x RAM , is something from the Windows3 era , & is not really relevant nowadays , especially if you dont have enough RAM.
