1361023 2013-11-28 21:23:00 I tried Epic, but there seems to be a problem that I can't solve. I log into a website, agree for Epic to save the password, and then the next time I open the browser, I have to log in all over again. Thus far I haven't been able to persuade it to save my login and password for any site between sessions.

Is this a feature of the browser's privacy approach, or am I doing something wrong?

I thought that the whole point of it was that it would not retain anything. It would appear to be designed for the paranoid or those involved in illegal activity.

1361026 2013-11-28 21:51:00 Yeah every time you close the browser, it says it wipes *everything*! It's a feature, not a bug.

Most of those things you're seeing look like the "Facebook share " thing thats up the top, along with Google Ads. That's the 2 for when you're replying to a message, at least?

1361027 2013-11-28 22:14:00 OK, so it is not my usual incompetence kicking in then... Sad, because it is a nice looking browser - simple and fast. Unfortunately I tend to only use a browser for sites that require logging into like this one, my banks, Forest of Dean, MobileRead, etc etc, and I have ended up with different passwords or login names on all of them, which I have difficulty remembering... Looks like it is back to FF, and CCleaner to get rid of the crud. Thanks guys. John H (8)
1361028 2013-12-04 02:24:00 I didn't bother to uninstall Epic until today. Over the past few days, I have noticed that there is a new Epic shortcut on the desktop, which I always keep free of programme shortcuts. Each time I deleted it, and each time it came back. Looks like it has been updating itself automatically.

Can't abide that sort of behaviour, so I asked Revo Uninstaller to deal to it.

Pressf1 and many other web sites in Epic was taking at least 3-4 minutes to open, where as in iron, IE, or firfox it was instant.
