Unfortunately no to the insurance and of course to drying it out - I've even taken it to one of those dodgey phone places for inspection but the motherboard is coroded? Seeing as I have your attention in regards to this matter mate, any chance that ordering you've done for us had a warrenty come with? 1338798	2013-04-30 03:52:00	Hell no I wouldn't jump on 2 Degrees given the chance again... I %@#$ hate them with a passion. Example: Wife and I will be at Orewa beach. I'll go to share a *single* photo to G+, she'll share 10 photos to Facebook (Competing social networks, adds flavour to the marriage). Mine will take anywhere up to 20 minutes to share one single photo on 2 Degrees She'll share 10 of them in 2-3 mins to Facebook, on Telecoms XT network. Same for hacking portals, in Henderson. I've got a total dead spot where it'll literally take me up to 5 minutes to properly hack an Ingress portal. Brother on XT has *zero* issues. Identical model phone as I'm sure you're aware. So no, I wouldn't sign up with 2 Degrees, you're *way* better off just throwing it on your Credit Card or something and picking one up from The Warehouse or Noel Leeming or something if you're in a hurry... I think it could have been for the fact that it's a non-openable case - water goes in - water doesn't come - out sort of situation. It's got a red light when I plug it into the charger which I thought gave me hope - but does nothing from there. I might look into REALLY (couple of days) drying it before I try it again.
