1338854 2013-04-29 08:38:00 This is good to see happening. 65 recipients of speed camera tickets in South Canterbury had their tickets waived due to operator error. Those who had paid the fine were refunded their money. :banana
Technical or administrative errors were sometimes discovered during auditing of speed-camera infringements, the officer in charge of the Police Infringement Bureau, Inspector Peter McKennie, said. "Police need to maintain the integrity of the speed-camera programme and have processes in place that will pick up these sorts of errors when they occur."
