| 231084 | 2004-04-22 03:25:00 | I've recently installed a Sound Balster Audigy card and now I get no sound. It did work for a while when I first installed it. I'm running XP Pro on a 1Gb PC - AMD - with 512 Mb of RAM. I've made no recent changes to the congiuration. Does anyone have any ideas please |

If not check in device manager, (right-click on my computer, properties, device manager), click the plus sign on Sound, video and game controllers. Your soundcard should be listed there, (if not, make sure the drivers are installed properly). Double click on the soundcard and make sure the, "Exists in all hardware profiles" is ticked. Make sure the drivers from the old card are uninstalled properly. As Melta said make sure the plugs are in the right sockets. What speaker setup are you using? |

Also, you may want to check your cables that connects to your cdrom which in some case u mite have forgotten connect it in. |
