231122 2004-04-22 06:24:00 I was told today of a security flaw that has been found in DLINK routers. These have bene known apparentley for some time and they have continues to make the same mistakes in there following models.

Please see attatched or visit www.ca.com

D-Link 704p routers contain a vulnerability that can allow attackers on local and remote network interfaces to cause a denial of service condition. The flaw is due to insufficient handling of overly long HTTP requests. Remote attackers can send carefully constructed HTTP requests to overflow the buffer and cause a denial of service. This is an non-priority technology vulnerability.

D-Link DI-614+ Wireless Router is vulnerable to a flaw that can allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service condition. The vulnerability is due to how malformed packets are processed. An attacker can send a Nestea or a zero length fragmented packet to cause the router to become unstable. This is an a non-priority technology vulnerability.

Both of these were taken for the computer associates website www.ca.com. At least Dynalinks were fixed 2 years ago.
