| 231144 | 2004-04-22 05:59:00 | Hi - I have Nortons antivirus 2003 and Windows XP home. I had Nortons av 2002 on the machine when bought and when that expired rather than subscribe over the internet I went back to the computer shop where i bought the computer and bought another nortons av 2003 disk and installed. Here is my question - When I have my system status box up it tells me my subscription expires 30/10/04 but when I click on liveupdate then click on next to see available updates it tells me my subscription has expired. I then click on skip to get updates and it tells me - thank you for using liveupdate. the floowing symantec products and components are now up to date BUT the first 2 in the list have red crosses these are Norton Internet Security URL updates and Norton Internet Security updates the rest have green ticks. Then in the box below it says LU1844 this product prevented liveupdate from updating it, check your subscription status for this product. Can someone tell me in easy terms what all this means????? Thanks Bug :( |

| 231145 | 2004-04-22 06:04:00 | Hello Ladybug :) One question I forgot to ask you on yahoo messenger, how did you install NAV 2003? Did you uninstall nav 2002 first before you install nav 2003? Or did you just install nav 2003 over the top of nav 2002? |

| 231152 | 2004-04-22 12:25:00 | First of all it is best to install 2003 over 2002, 2003 will ask you if you wish to uninstall 2002, say yes and let it get on with it. Avoid auto update, its a pain. Download the update file from Symantec and save it on your hard drive. Select the file with Windows Explorer & double click it. The update will take place. If there is any argument about subscrition, set the computer date back. Remember to set the correct date when you have finished. |
