| 231899 | 2004-04-25 02:15:00 | I need to choose what OS to install on a 100mhz Toshiba Laptop. It has 40mb ram and 1.2gb HDD and a cdrom - I can install WIN95 A or B, Windows 98, Windows 98se, Windows ME, All the WINNT Versions, All the Windows 2000 version, all the Windows XP version and all the Windows 2003 Server Versions. Which one would you recomend. It needs to connect to my Windows 2000 AD server Domain. Cheers Dwnz |

| 231905 | 2004-04-25 05:41:00 | IE6 dosn't run on 95. not to sure about messanger (there is a 95 ver) but there are better programs for underpowered pc's that can use msn networks. i would go for 95b or 95c. 98se next choice but it will be very slow (exspecially if less than 64 meg ram). |

| 231906 | 2004-04-25 07:04:00 | If it needs to connect to the domain, I'd go with Win2000 pro. | PoWa (203) | ||
| 231907 | 2004-04-25 07:37:00 | I'd recomment either Win98 or Vector Linux for that sorta hardware :-) It is possible to get Win95 to use USB... I've done it once but it was a long time ago... Chill. |
