Run Norton Ghost Dos Operation was highlighted and I press enter key on the keyboard but nothing happen,it hanged there then I tried to press all souces of keys still nothing happen not untill I pressed CTRL-ALT-DELETE then it restart back to windows.

I checked my USB external hd, it appear to be 1 kb of Ghost image written there.

231811 2004-04-25 03:10:00 Hi chinadoll

Did you enable USB 2.0 as an external storage device option?

Are you using a boot disk or the Windows GUI interface?

Cheers

To question is yes I have enable USB 2. I am using Windows GUI interface

It did go through all the steps but it hanged after Ghost restart the computer into Dos mode for starting the ghosting procedure but it did not going any further it hang there as I describe. The only way I can get out of it is to use ctrl-alt-delete keys which restart back to window.

I don.t know why it won,t work on my system ! In Norton Ghost Tutorial it sound so easy.

231814 2004-04-25 06:53:00 Try making a boot disk (floppy) using the Ghost Wizard and use that instead of the Windows GUI. I have found that method to be more reliable as it doesn't let Windows get involved until the imaging process is finished.

You will have to enable the USB 2.0 options for the boot disk though.
