232252 2004-04-26 23:49:00 I can't log in to the usage meter. When I enter my phone number and telecom account number (first time users), it says incorrect log-in. I then went into 'my telecom' and registered, but I can't get past where it asks for my "Xtra" log in name and password.

I am not with Xtra but used to be about 4 years ago. I wonder if they still have those old details on file, and if so, I tried entering my old log in name and password to no avail.

I have emailed Telecom using their contact form and await a reply, in the meantime was wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

Thanks

J

232253 2004-04-26 23:56:00 Are you entering your phone number in correctly??

Remember to leave off the 0 from the area code.

i.e. if your phone # was 09 1234567
you have to enter it as 91234567 - no 0 at the start and no spaces!

232254 2004-04-26 23:57:00 Yeah, I had a bit of trouble to start with but can't remember now how I eventually got in . :p :D

I think it just came right by itself the next day or something . You have got cookies enabled haven't you?

Just keep kicking the door and it might eventually let you in . :D

232255 2004-04-26 23:59:00 Yes, I enetered the phone number correctly, without leading zero or spaces, and I know my Telecom account number off by heart now after trying so many times.

Time for the steel cap boots to try Susan's idea :)

ahhhh isn't leave grand? Week off, no kids (back at school) :)

232256 2004-04-27 01:59:00 I have had that same problem for the last month, each time I login I get 'incorrect login'. If I enter the details again though it logs in ok. Very bizarre. donna (1667)
232257 2004-04-27 02:48:00 Yep, same problem here. Neither my xtra address and password, or phone and account number will work. Winston001 (3612)
232258 2004-04-27 09:31:00 I rung Telecom - the reason was that they didn't have my date of birth on the system to validate my sign in to "my Telecom". Gave them that and they set it up over the phone, all sweet now :) Jester (13)
