| 231928 | 2004-04-25 05:45:00 | Epson Color Stylus 580 printer: i removed the lid to fit an on-off neon light and removed the cartridges to prevent ink spillage. Upon re-assembly all systems worked fine except there is no ink flow to the printer head (all pages are blank), even after repeated cleaning of the nozzles and replacing the cartridges. | 231929 | 2004-04-26 04:48:00 | Many Epson printers have a warning in the manual saying something like "don't remove the cartridge except to replace it". ;-) Try doing the "replace cartridge" sequence and put the existing cartridges back. That might fool the internal computer. I've done something like that with a Stylus 200 ... you might get lucky. The |
