| 232550 | 2004-04-27 21:54:00 | I have MS flight simulator 2004 and am trying to play it with a Logitech cordless joystick. My major problem is that I can't get elevator trim to work. According to directions keys 7 and 1 should control trim up and down. But they don't do a thing. To maintain level flight I have to use considerable forward pressure on joystick. Can someone tell me what I'm supposed to do? Jack |

| 232551 | 2004-04-30 13:04:00 | Hi there 1. Have you calibrated the stick? 2. Make sure that Num lock is off if you use the keys for trim control. Be careful here as these keys are used to pan around the views with Num lock on. If you go to look around and have the num lock off, you could end up spiraling into the deck. 3. Is there no trim control on the stick? Usual that is where trim controlled if using a stick. 4. Failing the fore mentioned, you cold use the mouse and click on the trim control on the screen. Hope this has been of help. Craigb. |

| 232553 | 2004-04-30 23:15:00 | Get a CH Flight Sim Yoke & Pedals & start doing some real flying. Both elevator & rudder trim for hands-off straight & level Plus you get, throttle, prop, & mixture levers & nice toggle switches for flaps & gear operation: all very realistic. Flying a Mooney or 737 with a stick is like driving a car with a tiller. | Tom B. (864) | ||
