2004-04-27 08:02:00 | What version of the software are you running? And why do you need auto-revert? | PoWa (203) | |
2004-04-27 09:05:00 | Unfortunately PoWa I am away from the PCs until tomorrow so I am unable to quote the version of GoBack. I shall report back tomorrow. I teach seniors how to use the computer. There are several PCs and I want them to automatically revert to the condition they were in before the classes started. Thanks for your interest. Dumb-bell.

2004-04-29 06:37:00 | Hi, after a good hard look and finding roxio got taken over by symantec (who seem to be taking oevr everything these days) I have found you the manual in pdf format (ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/products/goback/3.2.x/manuals/goback.pdf). If you read that, and specifically in the contents window go to "Go back main menu -> How go back works" you should find your answers in there.

2004-04-29 08:36:00 | www.symantec.com Current Version: 3.0 Platforms: Windows® XP Home/XP Pro/2000 Pro/Me/98 Don't see why it wouldn't work. You would disable system restore anyway as its useless.

2004-04-29 09:50:00 | Hi again. Yes, my version which ran for a long time on 98SE is 2.2 - probably why XP PRO does not like it. | Scouse (83) | |
2004-04-29 10:52:00 | Ahh that'll be the reason ;) | PoWa (203) | |
