| 232987 | 2004-04-29 12:22:00 | When I try to open a 'Business Card' Template in PageMaker 7.0, the "PANose Font Matching Results" indicated that there are missing fonts - different template has different missing fonts. Accepting the 'Substituted font' and click OK to create publication produces unreadable screen. What is this "PANose Font Matching Result"? Any solution to this? Cheers |

Sometimes if another font is substituted it can result in a messy looking layout. You can download fonts from the web - just put them in your fonts folder c:/windows/fonts. Do a Google search. For instance, if the missing font is Garamond Bold, choose Garamond as a substitute, or another font with a similar size/weight. You should then be able to get a reasonably close match to the original template. Of course, if you're not happy you can keep substituting fonts to your heart's content from within the publication itself. | karent (5222) | ||
| 232990 | 2004-04-29 23:26:00 | Thanks, karent. I check the installation CD and found all those fonts there but they are not installed in the Adobe Pagemaker folder. Or maybe, they are installed somewhere else? Or, shall I re install PageMaker? Cheers |

| 232991 | 2004-04-29 23:53:00 | Looks like all the fonts have not been installed as I couldn't find any FONTs folder in PageMaker. How do I install those fonts from the Installation CD? Can I just create a folder in PageMaker and copy all those fonts to this folder? | bk T (215) | ||
