| 233449 | 2004-05-01 06:21:00 | I run a 266mz with Windows 98 first edition and IE 6. I just had my son install a network card so I could connect my laptop up and share info but now I am getting a blue screen with a 'Fatal error' message and then everything freezes and then shuts down. Son has since returned to Auckland. It has also upset the internet/email application Outlook Express in that it no longer connects first time but needs to be tried three times before commencing dialling. Can you tell me what is wrong and suggest ways to fix it please thank you |

It will go something like Windows has encountered a ............ at .............,etc. If it lists any hardware or software (.exe, .dll, etc) include it. What are you doing when the BSOD ocurrs? Look in: Control Panel > System > Devices for any yellow exclamation marks or red discs next to the devies listed there. Cheers Murray P |
