| 233106 | 2004-04-30 06:21:00 | Am I right in thinking that all the fonts that a program like Word would use are or have to be installed in the C:\Windows\fonts folder? Is it right that one has to limit the number of files in this folder to less than 400, I believe, to ensure good system performance? At the moment I have 570! I have Windows ME. |

I notice I have a folder called c:\psfonts . It seems to be associated with Adobe. But do those files get stored under the same registry key as mentioned in your article, counting towards the total allowable number of fonts? Or do they have a different allowable limit of their own? |

| 233109 | 2004-04-30 09:52:00 | I belive adobe's font manager does indeed cause the same issues,its only purpose that i could see was the ability to group fonts in order to install and remove them in large quantites. I could be wrong,been awhile since i had to look into this particler issue. |
