Enter into a konsole window redhat-config-network. Enter root's pwd at the prompt and then click on the Host Tab. Highlight localhost and click Edit. Address is your machines IP, Hostname is your desired name (lappy beast? :p) and you can enter in an Alias as well if you like. I think I had to restart the machine for the new host name to kick in. |
