233410 2004-05-01 04:34:00 This problem is really getting to me, I have WinXP and when I connect to the internet everything works fine until I try to disconnect. It will not disconnect then eventually I get a flash of the error screen that is dumping memory and the system then re-boots. However if I don't connect to the internet the computer works fine and shuts down normally.
To resolve this problem I have uninstalled the Modem then re-installed, I hae removed the TCP/IP and re-installed, I have removed the connection and made a new one, I have tried system restore, I have ran virus, spykillers, adkillers but I still have the same problem.
Could someone please advise or do I have to re-install everything again.

Ensure you update it first before doing a scan.

Disable automatic restarts. That might let you see what the error is.

Control Panel - System - Advanced - Startup and Recovery - Settings - untick "automatically restart"
