| 233610 | 2004-05-02 06:19:00 | Try IE > Tools menu > Options > General tab > View Files > and check the properties/dependencies of the activeX objects. Delete then go to Add Remove in Control Panel and delete any instances there, while in add remove repair IE. Open Spybot in Advanced mode and look for a setting for locking IE Home pages, etc, for the current user, check the tick boxes (could be under tools, sorry not in windosa at the mo) BTW, before you do all that, do a google for the malware and see if there are any advisories on it's removal.
