| 233615 | 2004-05-02 05:30:00 | I stop using free version of AVG because it never had any virus definition updates since version 7 came out. I thought free version wasnt supported anymore? Is free version still effective as it use to be? | James Busby (341) | ||
| 233616 | 2004-05-02 05:41:00 | Version 7 is the Pro version. The free version is till supported, and updaed daily (sometimes the updates are more than once a day too). As far as usefulness goes, I have never suffered any consequences of having a virus since using AVG free version. J :D |

| 233617 | 2004-05-02 07:42:00 | I thought that it must be most unusual to have updates twice in one day, however, based on Jester's comment, and although I had received an update early this morning I did another check a few mins ago - and lo and behold there is another update to AVG !! This morning's gave the date 1 May and the one a few mins ago gave the date 2 May. Misty |
