| 233596 | 2004-05-02 03:23:00 | Hey, Someone I know is having problems playing Need For Speed Underground. He has had it working before. When he starts the program, it goes to a blank screen for a couple of seconds and then quits to the desktop. I tried dxdiag, and got a message asking if I didn't want to continue with DirectInput because it had problems previously. I click No and then it crashed. So, I suspect it is more a problem with DirectInput. He doesn't have any dedicated game controllers connected (and I don't think he ever has). I have installed DirectX 9b (multiple times), but to no avail. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? Thanks. |
