I followed the instructions on the microsoft website for the sasser worm, installed the patch, and it still seems to be infecting my computer. It is killing all my system restores for some reason.
I have NOD32, it seems to be deleting all the infected files, but more keep coming. |

You MUST turn OFF your system restore. Then clean out and only when clear do you turn the restore back on. |

Also, just my opinion, but I would also scan with the killing utility called stinger , from here (vil.nai.com) ,as a second-opinion. |
