| 233484 | 2004-05-01 13:27:00 | I have upgraded from ME to XP Home and now find that my modem connect speed never gets above 38.6 kbps whereas before the upgrade is was never less than 50kbps. My Notebook which runs XP Pro only connects at 38.6 kbps also Any clues as to why the lower speed now? |

| 233487 | 2004-05-02 03:16:00 | conexant is the maker of the chip the modem uses. you need to find the brand and model number. have a look on the side of the modem. the telecom sticker normally has the model number on it as well. | tweak'e (174) | ||
