Then I get attacked for laughing... yes it looks like laughing is being antagonistic. For one BillyT has had a particular problem with me ever since I came to this forum. Never given up to this day. He's already implicating me in the riot. It seems he is able to give people s***, but not take any himself. Are you implying that if you posted your real name and address, someone from this forum would come around to your place behaving like a thug? I do not wish to get into the debate of Off Topic threads, but this forum is much like a community, and as such, it has Off Topic threads. That said, perhaps you should try increasing the number of topics per page in your settings. I don't know what your setting is, but 15 is pathetically small. 30 or more is enough that the small number of Off Topic threads won't have an effect of dropping actual computer problems. Please don't tell me that you shouldn't have to change your settings because of other people - it is not admitting defeat, it is adapting to suit the situation. Off Topic threads will not go away, and there is nothing you can do about it. Put up with it like you would put up with the bad parts of society. |
