| 233651 | 2004-05-02 08:19:00 | Further to this question : if i have not added anything to the firewall trusted zones will ZA add anything? and in looking at alerts, what is alien.xtra.co.nz ? as i was updating and doing checks the threads by robo and mike on this worm thing has made me look closer at my settings and what is going in / out of my machine again. beetle |

| 233653 | 2004-05-02 09:02:00 | Hi Beetle, The ZoneAlarm trusted area is where you can enter trusted IP addresses and/or ranges. If you had a home network and your machine was 192.168.0.1 you would probably find that ZoneAlarm would set 192.168.0.1-192.168.0.254 as a trusted IP range. HTH :) |

| 233654 | 2004-05-02 09:05:00 | thanxs My comp is not networked with any others, so would i have to manually put this address in myself? or ZA puts it in from my comp IP???? where do i find my IP? beetle |

| 233655 | 2004-05-02 09:35:00 | The trusted zone is purely designed to enable communication between computers in your network . If you don't have a home network set-up there is no reason to have any addresses in the trusted zone . HTH :) |
