| 233911 | 2004-05-03 08:57:00 | Why is that just when your computer is going great everything turns to custard? Once a month I enter Safe Mode to run Scan Disk (Thorough) and Defrag. This time I got the message"Your Display Adaptor is not configured properly. Click OK to start the Hardware Installation Wizard" I have no hardware to install and Device Manager said that the Display Adaptor was working properly. I tried several times - got the same message and couldn't enter Safe Mode. The same day when I tried to shutdown a screen appeared with only orange bars about 8 cm high in the middle of the screen and nothing else happened. I used System Restore to fix that, but what was it? And I still can't enter Safe Mode. Any help would be appreciated. |
