To me it is 80% with helpful intentions but not necessarily on target everytime, and the other 20% feeding the soul or the funnybone, because life isn't meant to be all work, a daily ordeal or a source of constant irritation. We all need a little levity from time to time, it stops us taking ourselves too seriously and getting all acidic when the world doesn't treat us right. (Like two HDD failures in quick succession, a virus that refuses to die or an untraceable incompatibility that ruins our dream of a super machine.) PF1 is meant to be a friendly place too, where we live and let live, that's why 80/20 is a good principle, it keeps the entertainment level up and the Ubergeeks away in their own private twilight world. :D Cheers Billy 8-{) :) |
