| 234465 | 2004-05-05 00:30:00 | Does anyone know if its possible to kill a stuck/bright pixel? | metla (154) | ||

| 234469 | 2004-05-05 06:52:00 | Powa you get two types of problems with TFT monitor pixels. Stuck on to either red, blue or green or if your really lucky deceased with the a fixed gaze from the floro that provides the light source for the monitor. I've never heard of it being fixed and in fact in mid to lower range monitors a certain number of dodgy pixels are allowed to leave the factory. Philips business grade monitors for eg have a no dead/stuck pixel guarantee so I guess it pays to check the manufacturers info before purchasing on what their pixel policy is. Cheers Murray P |
