| 234368 | 2004-05-04 09:20:00 | to the guy who said that the 5200 was the worst card ever.... it beats the 9200 in every test i have ever seen and the ultra isnt too bad if you aren't interested in super high fps or aa and af. /rant but yeah the 5700 is a really good car you wont be dissapointed, although may i suggest you wait a month or so, as when the new cards com out, the current models are likely to drop in price so you may be able to afford something even better |

Irrelevant to what it can out perform it should never have been released. The g4mx was a downgrade from the gf3 and the 5200 is a down grade from the g4mx. Three releases of cards, each slower then the one prior, this is one of the reasons nvidia get a bad name. |

| 234372 | 2004-05-04 11:28:00 | Definitely nothing wrong with ATI cards, they stack up nicely and usually outperform the competition. As for harrassing the GF4mx440, I can run Far Cry at 1024x768@32bit with very nice picture and no problems. Thats a pretty graphic intense game and if my MX can handle it, I'm not complaining! |
