| 233988 | 2004-05-03 12:57:00 | Hey guys. I'm reshaping the GUI of my PC after wading through hundreds of shell replacements and deciding to give Desktop X one more go. What I need to know is the shortcuts to such system utilities such as: Search Help Find The settings menu Shut down, logoff, hibernate, stand by, restart Network Recycle bin Do I have to use all the {X195FFFGH-GHYYTHDHH547HNGGG-556HNG} things or is there a simpler way? The reason I'm not using dx to make these shorcuts is cos I'll have to make up all the text and menu in photoshop for those of you who have used dx. Oh and I use Win2k. Cheers .Chumba |

| 233989 | 2004-05-03 13:12:00 | In normal windows : Search - Windows Key and F Help - F1 (of course!!) Find - Same as search The settings menu Shut down, logoff, hibernate, stand by, restart - Windows Key then U then underlined letter Network - Windows Key and E will bring up Explorer - go from there If you are wanting specific details of how to use these type of shortcuts with Desktop X, I'm sorry but I don't know. |
