| 234004 | 2004-05-03 12:25:00 | im not sure how many of you listen to "The Rock" radio station, but i was today. and one of the DJ's was saying that they had upgraded to Win 2000 for their computers, prior to Win2000 they had been using Win95.....how does a radio station get away with using Win95??? its bonkers. but the funny thing is that within 1 hour of having win2000 installed there system had crashed, and had locked up the CD tray good and proper. now, in a radio station you expect the CD ROMS to be the most used peice of equipment. i nearly died of a hernia, laughing. they were broadcasting this all afternoon, complaining about win2000. haha. me hugs is Panther system. cheers James. |

Sometimes it good to stay behind instead of jumping headfirst into XP (or molasses - same thing :D). THo I don't quite know how they managed to stuff up a Windows 2000 installation. |

| 234006 | 2004-05-03 12:50:00 | I upgraded a clients computer from XP to 2000 today. A leap forward. They loved how "unconstricting" and "uncomplex" and "un IN YOUR FACE" it was... Just goes to show... even n00bs don't want XP. I'll probably end up reformatting their other XP computer aswell... its grinding to a halt. |
