| 234353 | 2004-05-07 23:46:00 | Self moderating threads? I just called for a moderator! Man where is the frickin love? Anywho, I can't prove from a customer point that the Telecom network is superior (I just dont know where the documentation is, if any). But I do know many people on the inside that can easily tell me that. And it aint a surprise. |

| 234355 | 2004-05-08 07:56:00 | I mean people in the business . This is why: Telecom uses CDMA . Vodafone uses GPRS . GPRS technology modulates onto the voice channels, while CDMA uses all digital transmission . This results in a) higher bandwidth networks for telecom, and as a direct result b) higher capacity . Also, as Telecom has a more established network (noticably more range IMHO), which has been suited for alot more users in the past . |

| 234356 | 2004-05-08 08:38:00 | GPRS info (www.cisco.com) CDMA info (www.bee.net) Reading this lot you can actually get higher transfer speads with GPRS CDMA coverage (www.telecom.co.nz) GPRS North Island coverage (www.vodafone.co.nz) GPRS South Island coverage (www.vodafone.co.nz) This is what I call facts. |
