| 234338 | 2004-05-07 06:37:00 | I said suspect, I cant imagine the bright clever girls at school sending hundred of texts a week thats all. It will be the dumb as dirt, pregnant before 18 type ones. Telecom is doing the country a favour, they might use the time saved by not texting but swotting for exams. Dont blame Telecom for tightening the rules, people abused the promotion. Maybe if they are that dumb they will change to Vodafone in protest and pay more. I do about 5 texts a day I text the letter r to my other truck and we talk on radio for free. Thank god for Trademe lol. tedheath |

I better inform her shes dumb as dirt and about to get pregnant. Of course, her father is employed at the works,so maybe its just because shes a low class citizen. |

Ive got a friend who is 17, is doing well in school (passing with the top of whatever this new bloody NCEA results thing is in 4 of her 5 subjects) and she had her first child a year ago. For that, I respect her! > Telecom is doing the country a favour, they might use > the time saved by not texting but swotting for > exams. I dont think so..... > I do about 5 texts a day I text the letter r to my > other truck and we talk on radio for free. Thank god > for Trademe lol. Not everybody can affor the 200mile cordless phones for free local calls within auckland! Chill. |

Sorry, my comment may have offended some. I'll take it back. I apologise. Maybe this only applies at my school and the few schools around my community.... I did say there are exceptions.... |

| 234343 | 2004-05-07 09:41:00 | This guy is the most judgemental person ive ever seen! Firstly, > I said suspect, I cant imagine the bright clever > girls at school sending hundred of texts a week > thats all Thats funny, im sure i know people who fit into that category! Secondly, . It will be the dumb as dirt, pregnant > before 18 type ones. Not everyone who gets pregnant b4 18 is "dumb as dirt", not every1 wants to wait til theyre 56 to have a family (no offence intended to people who wish that) Thirdly, > Telecom is doing the country a favour, they might use > the time saved by not texting but swotting for > exams. I havent studied for an exam in quite a while, yet havent failed any while still texting over 1000 this month already, hmmm. Fourthly (is that even a word) > Dont blame Telecom for tightening the rules, people > abused the promotion. Telecom has full power to disconnect those who text bomb |

| 234345 | 2004-05-07 09:48:00 | HELLO? IS THERE A MODERATOR OUT THERE? Chill, metla, robby, I completely agree, but let's face it, this is no longer anything but off topic. Wasn't there a thread about behaviour a while ago? C'mon! Anyway, back to telecom being the man and any thoughts otherwise deserving the most hypocritical flame i can muster.... |

| 234347 | 2004-05-07 10:09:00 | >Telecom's network is larger, and more technologically advanced (specification wise) than Vodafones. Easily said please prove it to me. Before the txt deal Vodafone had a slight edge because the initial launch of the 027 system did not go well. As a matter of interest to some I have a friend who works on both Telecom and Vodafone sites and he tells me that Vodafone take far more care of theirs. I wish I had copied the url but I read tonight how Telecom are in trouble over a dodgy marketing campaign for cell phones back in 2001 or there about. |
