| 234687 | 2004-05-06 04:14:00 | Hi, I thought I'd try the AVG virus checker. Downloaded the free one from their site. It runs fine and updates also. But it seems to be shedding files... first 1 and now 5... I get message on startup like "The windows registry or system ini refers to this device file but the device file no longer exists...blah blah " the files are vnetsup.vxd AVGCore.vxd AVGFsh.vxd Vdir.vxd dfs.vxd Dosn't seem to effect is function, just want to get rid of the startup screen. thanks for any clues Pete |
